Best packing tips!

Wednesday, March 18th, 2009

The garden in VenceAs I start to pack today for my trip to Vence, France where I will reside at the beautiful Chateau Saint Martin & Spa, I thought I would share with all of you, one of the best packing “tips and lists” I know of.  It was published in Town & Country Travel Magazine and I have provided the link below.  I have lists for every type of travel – ski trips, scuba trips, buying trips- but this is definitely the best for all around travel, including business travel. http://www.townandcountrytravelmag.com/travel-tips/expert-advice/travel-packing-tips

Enjoy!  I’ll drop a line from Cote d’Azur where I will be meeting with aromatherapists, nutitionists, speakers on subjects such as Quantum Physics, EQ, Life Balance, and artists for master classes.

A bientot!

Share your visualization exercises!

Thursday, March 5th, 2009

My favorite visualization exercise that I do periodically is that of visiting my future self.  I imagine the journey to visit my future self, my arrival at the door, my visit, any discussions between us or advice given to me.  Did I receive a gift?  I visualize what my future home looks like, who is with me, what I’m in the midst of doing.  Am I happy?  What have I accomplished?

The following visualization belongs to Victoria Colligan, Founder and CEO of Ladies Who Launch:

“Positive visualization is a powerful tool that can sustain energy and build momentum. Here I share one of my personal favorite visualization exercises with you, to be done any time of day or in any environment: Imagine yourself sitting on the top of a mountain. All around you is clean air and white space. The light in your mind is bright but not blinding. Your posture is tall and strong. Clean rainwater gently pours from the sky hitting your skin, rolling off your body and cleansing you from the outside in. If you were to look inside your body, you would see nothing but clean, clear white space. Your eyes are closed as you imagine all the negativity, past scars or wounds and anything less than clear white purity literally melting off of you. You feel centered, strong and confident knowing that all things will happen the way they should and the way you will manifest them. Take many deep breaths and hold this image for as long as necessary to feel relaxed and powerful.”

I would love to hear your visualizations and look forward to receiving them!

Blessings,

Janice
